Does anyone know a good removal software that is free and actually removes stuff instead of just scanning your computer and then asking for you to buy it? the problem I would like to fix is removing stuff i don't use. I have 40 gb of space but it is almost full. I don't understand why since i don't have that much on my computer so I was hoping a some sort of scanner could remove stuff i am not using or seeing that i have that is taking up all the space. thanks

Try out a program called WinDirStat (http://windirstat.info/). When you run the program this [IMG] will be one of the first windows you see. Select your harddrive and hit "Ok". After the program is done scanning your harddrive it will give you a screen like this [IMG]. The bigger the colored box the bigger the file, and when you click on a colored box WinDirStat gives you the directory address to that file. You can even delete the file right from within the program. If you decide to use the program this is what you should download (http://windirstat.info/images/windirstat.jpg) just unzip it and your good to go. All you need is the executable, everything else can be deleted.
