I have a Daewoo Dvd player, however on some of the DVD's which are rated PG, I get a message that there is a parental lock. I donot remember setting any password, nor does the manual mention anything about it. Is there a way to remove this password or reset it to new one. I tried resetting it back to factory settings also did not work. Not sure why would Daewoo put it without informing the customer about such passwords.

the only thing I can think of is leave it unplugged overnight and see if that won't remove it.
