removing annoying messages on movies

    i have downloaded a movie from a website and when i play the movie there is a large logo at the bottom of the movie screen there is a message saying chica.org i know there is a way to remove it i just dont know how.

    can somebody tell me how to remove it?

    Virtualdub with Region Remove or Logoaway filters.

    i have just downloaded virtualdub and downloaded logoaway and delogo and put them in the plugins folder.

    i have started virtualdub and it says both plugins have loaded succesfully.

    i dont know what to do next, can you tell me?

    Load your video (file, open).
    Select Video, filters, add.
    Browse to the one you want, double click it.
    Set it up.

    thanks for your help.
    i have done what it says and filled in the logo area in a fine red colour, and in the preview the logo has gone but then i click close the logo is still on the screen. have i done something wrong?

    ive just worked it out and saved it as an avi file. i got about quarter of the way through and its a 20gb file already. so i have cancelled it. how can i make it into a smaller avi file????

    Sounds like you were encoding uncompressed avi.

    Go into Video-->Compression and select a codec.
