Removing Subtitles

    Hi i dont know if this is in the right section but....

    Is there anyway to take off the subtitles on a movie...i have just downloaded Bruce Almighty and it has german subtitles on ...is there anyway to take these off..

    Will need a quick answer please...and i will be very very grateful

    I'm guessing this is an .avi or something like that?

    If it's within a DVD you can remove them by using DVD2one. But if it's in an .avi the subtitles are now part of the picture. I'm not sure if there's a way of removing them; short of going in and wiping them out frame by frame. That would take years.

    it is an AVI file they are really annoying i cannot watch the film with them in
