replacing a hitachi drive with a samsung?

    how hard is this to do? some help pleaseeeeeeeee

    this is what you have to do....

    you gotta get the latest version of firmware toolbox and you have to get your drives original firmware

    then use firmware toolbox and load the original firmware and copy the drive key, which is a bunch of random numbers and letters that should be displayed on a line in firmware toolbox.

    then load up the samsung firmware (either ms28 or ms25) and replace the drive key by pasting the drive key on the line and pressing replace

    then once you do that you gotta spoof the firmware with the firmware toolbox to the hitachi drive version

    Finally you save that firmware and use mtkflash to flash the new samsung drive with your moddified firmware and youll successfully be able to swap drives.

    If you dont know anything about flashing then its gonna be pretty hard cause ull have to look into it and buy necessary supplies in order to be able to flash
