replacing HD

    my xbox ix already chipped and flashed, and i have now run out of space on my hard drive. What would i have to do when replacing the HD. Is it a matter of just fitting and locking the drive.

    You need to copy the contents of the smaller drive to your pc then format and lock the larger drive and then copy everything from your pc to your new drive and your good to go!

    so once copied do you create a partition on your new HD for your back-ups?

    so once the cross over cable is fitted what software will i use to back up files on pc. tried reading other links but getting lost now. there seems to be too much input from many people and now im lost.

    when my xbox is connected, will my pc find the xbox HD.

    How do you lock the hard drive?

    any help, please!!!!!!!!!?
