Hi All I have been trying to source a new remote control for a replaylite box to no joy, I have emailed replaylite.net and the say they dont sell them , so is there any other place to get them as there not on ebay either, also will a universal remote work and if so what are the codes for it. thanks in advance. John
A universal remote wont work If you have a mobile phone with a camera, switch it to camera mode. Point the remote at the camera lens and press some buttons , and you should see the infra-red LED flashing on the screen. If you don't see it flashing, then yes, the remote is dead.If you do see it flashing, then it's not the remote.
A universal remote will work...but not all of them! I have one working here at home. I posted up info about it in the Replay Lite thread a while back. Have to run back to work now so don't have the time to look but if you look in the thread you'll find the info you need. CBX...
Just back from work...the remote control I have is a SupportPlus URC-L-1870. It only costs about 7 or 8 euro and does the job perfectly.
