Reset Occured

    Whenever I try to burn a DVDR (+ or -) I get a Reset Occured error.

    This happens all the time, BUT, it doesnt occur when I burn a DVDRW (+ or -)

    Im using a LG 4040B Superwriter 12x. Dual Layer etc.

    Firmware: Original. Has not been flashed at all.

    Here are my pc specs:

    P4 2.6
    256mb Ram
    30gig HDD 70% free
    WinXpSP1

    Nero 6

    this only happened after i formatted the PC. I put everything back to the way it was before I formatted.

    I can burn DVDRW with no problems, but not DVDR's. Any clues?

    Is the burner an external (like you brought an external burner or a case to house it externally)
