resize a vob file...

    i had ripped a 6.somethingGb dvd in dvd shrink and wanted to burn it on a 4.7Gb dvd-r on nero, but it wont let me because its too huge. and i had return the orginal dvd and cant rip it anymore. so how can i resize just one vob file in dvd shrink?

    Not sure if this is a solution, but I use IFOedit as aprt of the ripping process. When a film is still bigger than 4.5gb, shrink will work but at 70% the end result is jumpy.

    If you download rempeg (search on google), this will resize any vob files to the size you need, which you can then backup using shrink and burn.

    this maybe a dumb question.

    did u rip with dvdshrink or did u rip/encode ??

    if u ripped//encode check under dvdshrink settings and make sure the filesize is equivalent to dvd5
