i have a dell, its about 2-3 years old and its performance right now is borderline unbearable. its got so much garbage on it i just want to erase everything and start over, only i dont know the exact means of doing this, so i figured someone here might be able to help. i have the drives and utilities disk and the operating system (windows xp home edition) disk. what else would i need and how do i go about doing this? thanks

You dont even need cd's. you can choose system restore on startup. I think F10?
