Ridisc By ritek are coming out washey!
half way through any body else?.
Nice nick - I love that movie
It would help greatly if you provided more info:
Make/model drive, firmware version, software used etc.
ridisc dvd-r are completing the burn ok but when i look at the surface of the disc it seems smudged & washey.
just wondered if anybody else has had the problem & why .
Make/model drive, firmware version, software used?
Do the discs look "washey" before you burn or just after?
Do they play or not?
Firmware Ver 107
and its after the burn & they play but are
pixulate & blockey if that makes sense m8
just out of interest, after backing up quite a few discs, to my horror quite a few would freeze and pixalate.I was using nero too.I now use clone to burn, having used decrypter and dvd2one to rip and compress.I have used a 105 fw1.33 and now a 107 and now burn absolutely flawlessly, the 107 using patched firmware to burn 8x on ridiscs, traxdata and even on oriphus' fave disc datasafe ritek!!It seems that u might have a bad batch of discs, but try another program to burn just to eliminate that part of the equation.
yeh thanks it appears to be the media because i used ritek tango & the the prob has gone.
lol - Yeah right! I hate those discs lol.
My advice, as always Ritek: Traxdata/CloneDisc/RiData
just out of interest...bigpockets are flogging traxdata at 13.99 for 25!!
So are Digital promo and a few others. Traxdata are a great price, but still slightly more than the RiData's
