Rip dvd directly to AVI?

    Can anyone recomend me how to rip a dvd directly to AVI/DivX?

    I have tryed an application called "1Click DVD to Divx Avi" but its so fusking slow, and the result is not so very good.
    Is there any other simple method/application that you can recomend?

    I've used dvd-to-avi and it's not bad. Creates an avi file around 700-900mb.

    You can useImToo DVD Ripper, it works GREAT. As for time, encoding with xvid or divx will always take a long time, you just have to deal with it.
