    Hey,

    im backing up a game for the first time, and its currently taken over two hours and hasnt even finished.

    its THUG 2.

    Ive connected the xbox through a hub and im getting an average transfer speed of 200kbps from FlashFXP. Is there something i can do to make it faster ?, Ive closed my firewall, and all my internet downloads,,

    any help?

    try using a faster NIC and a crosswire cable....what you have is a bottleneck at your hub. I use a gigabit NIC and a crosswaire and I get transfers speed at about 9000-12000kb/s.
