I currently ripped the audio from a video dvd into WAV format using smart ripper then DVD2AVI. I am using it for an audio cd. Is there a way through one of the two steps to raise the volume of the produced WAV, or will i have to do that once i am done?

Why not use xilisoft dvd audio ripper? the tool can directly extract the audio tracks from DVDs and save as the mp3/wav format. it's simple and easy. with the guide at http://www.xilisoft.com
