I want to back up my DVD's but came up with a problem from the start.

I ripped Man on Fire which came out as 6.3GB obviously this is two big for a single DVD.

Now before I splash out $30 for a key for DVD2One will a better solution be to get Dual layer disks?

My DVD is a NEC 3500AG which I think supports DL - But does this work with movie files?? and will it play OK on my DVD player a Samsung P-142?

Thanks for you help - I look through the guides and figured the other option is to use DVD2one - But is there a free option??

Edit - I used DVD Decrypter to rip it - If that makes a difference?

Did you miss the DVD Shrink guide?

Cheer - I let it compile the whole movie on its own first and that worked

Then I removed everything apart from the main movie and that worked a treat - thanks for your help - I'll be doing loads of backing up from now on!!
