One of the simpler techniques involves just three components:
    1. A software dvd player (i.e., PowerDVD or WinDVD)
    2. SmartRipper (or DVD Decryptor)
    3. DVDx (which comes with a tutorial guide).

This is totally simple ..In most cases you just need to go to the "Mpeg2 or MpegAV" folder on the SVCD and Just drag the "AVSEQ01.MPG" file to Your Desk top..This is Just the same as a Regular Mpeg2 file accept it has some Extra Info in the header (Rif Header)...You can also use VCDEasy to extract the Mpeg2 file from the SVCD and you can use IsoBuster to extract the Mpeg data off the SVCD either way will work but just dragging the Mpeg2 file off the SVCD is the easiest....
