Ripping DVD Games

    If i dont have any blanks available what can i use to rip the game to my cpu till i get some blanks

    do you have hard drive space becasue if thats the case and you just need to store them till you get more blank dvd's you can just make image files for each game

    sounds to me like you dont have the original otherwise there would be no rush to back up games that you allready own. It sounds to as though you have a rental and ran out of discs but want to steal it and you didnt know how so you came to a forum that dosent discuss piracy

    maybe he does't want his disc scratch and screwed up. don't assume someone doing illegal things when you don't really know what the situation is!!

    so all of the sudden it is urgent to store a game untill he gets some more discs

    Damn guys you wanna know the truth, i don't have the money for dvd-r's so i wanted to image all my games and use some rw's (have v7 some rws work) and when did i say it was URGENT all i said was that i didn't have cds and wanted to make images. Chill out

    you didnt know that imaging was an option till c7015 told you about it you just wanted a way to store your blockbuster games till you got more money

    first of all i havn't rented or bought a game for 3 months... i'll be honest though my friend wants to borrow some games and i want to have the images in case i want to play (and i dont have any dvd-r)

    thats more like it yeah just use your nero (or whatever program you use) and make an image of the games that you want _X_X_X_X_X_[small]ha ha[/small]

    making an image with nero will work for the dvd games just wanna make sure cuz i have done the ripping on normal cdr

    how do i rip an image with nero... ive only done it with cdrwin

    go into nero
    file copy then click on the recorder at the top then click save track it will ask you for the drive pick teh one that the dvd is in and then select all select destination and then click copy

    sorry man but now im really confused i ripped it and my hard disc droped from 10 gb to 8 (which is fine) but the image says 0mb

    as long as it is taking space on your hard disc when you go to bunrn it eventually you just click on file burn image

    I have found that the free "DVD Decrypter"
    works great for backups of DVD based PS2 games. Just read the ISO from your game which copies to your HD then write from the ISO and voila, a perfect copy is made. Also I use the Easy Creator 5 software for the CD based games without any problems.
