Can you rip a HD-DVD using AnydvdHD ripper and then convert to a DVD DL? Just wondering since some of the movies coming out are in much better quality and with more extras then previous releases. I do not have a HD player yet but would like to watch the newer content on my Sharp 46" 1080p TV.

you can burn HD content from an HD-DVD in it's full glory to a typical dvd, but you have to have an HD-DVD player capable of playing this format.

given you have an HD-DVD drive in your pc, just the content and get a graphics card with a video output capable of exporting HD material and hook that up to your tv.

OK Once you have burned your back up copy of the HD-DVD to the Hard drive, what software is used to burn the HD DVD material to the DVD? and can you split it up on the DL DVD? Is so what are the procedures?

    Thanks
