    Hi,

I recently bought the DVD set of the first season of "24" and I would like rip it to my hard drive.

Each single DVD contains a few episodes, and therefore a few video tracks, and a few audio tracks. There are no other languages for the audio other than English.

I always use the following method:
    SmartRipper to rip
DVD2AVI to frameserve and extract audio
    TMPGenc to encode to VCD

I suceeded in ripping the first episode, but there are 4. When I try changing to a different audio track in DVD2AVI it doesn't output the audio anymore (and I don't know about the video)... So I need to know how to rip different episodes from the vob files (there are 2) sepreately. I must also note that there are 7 tracks (4 regular, 3 DTS).

    Can anyone help me?

I know DVD2SVCD can do it but it's really slow.

I have successfully ripped this box set and the second one. I outputted to 12 discs instead of 6, i took 2 episodes (no extras) to each disc. It works a treat like that and it was all done in DVD Shrink.
