I have a 50 pack of Ritek Ridata dvd+r's which are not even recognized by my NEC 1300a drive. Ive checked high and low and these DO work on everyone elses drives. Apparently its just me :( I did the firmware update to 1.0b and still, it wont see anything in the drive.

Like I said before, these WILL WORK on other drives, for some reason my particular NEC1300a is finicky. My buddy had no problem using one to burn.

Several other media types work, [bold]does anyone want to do a trade?[/bold] Or does anyone have an idea how I can get these to be aknowledged?

Will the drive recognize other brands of media?

Absolutely. Ive used tons of other types and still do today. Im slowly pawning these Ritek off for every other type of media out there. The Ritek work in everyone elses drives but mine :(
