I am using Roxio DVD Builder 6 to create a DVD. However, during the encoding process the system BSODs. Even when I set it up to go to image file only, after about a miute or three, I just get the crash.

Nothing else is wrong with my system.

    Any takers?

You should be commended for figuring out how to use the messy Roxio editing software. Although I use Roxio for many things, it is extremely fussy. Roxio, if they will tell you anything, will likely tell you to remove everything and start over with nothing running but Windows in safe mode. I would give neoDVD Plus a trial before spending a lot of time on Roxio, but that's just me.

I actually have it working now, and have created a few DVDs, from MPEG files.

I found out that it was when I tried to select an XVID movie to encode. I simply don't have the right codec for that operation.

Other than that I am pretty OK with Roxio. I may change my mind later...
