Is anyone out there familiar with Roxio. The drag to disc option has really worked well. I have been able to puit a few movies on DVD+R that I couldn't with TMPGENC Plus and its a lot easier. I do have one problem. I'm taking them from P2P right to disc using Roxio. When I go to burn the disc it says that the file is over 7gb and obviously I need to be under 4.7gb. I go into the advanced setting and there's a section for fit to disc and it lowers the quality, but makes it fit. I'm still having this problem as I did using TMPGENC Plus. Why do the movies say 3.2 gb, but when I go to burn them its over 7 to 8 gb. I even try to remove some of the credits and previews. Any help is appreciated.

Because a downloaded avi is a different compression than a dvd spec mpeg-2.

Is there anyway to compress it to fit to one disc without hurting the quality?
