s-bit DVD's????

    i'm not too sure but my bro is looking for DVD's with i think s-bit. Not sure what it is..is der any DVD's not der with it? What do i look for in the DVD to know if it is...I'm really really clueless...

    what your brother is referring to are DVDs called "Superbit DVDs". They are basically DVDs encoded at the highest quality possible. They usually don't include extra footage or complicated menus, to allow the most amount of data storage for the movie as possible. Superbit DVDs aren't hugely popular, but there are a few hundred out there. Also, next time post a question like this in the DVD forum, not audio.
