Hey all, having an issue setting up my s-video to tv...it show up in black and white.I'm running a ATI Radeon 9550 video card through my s-video cable to my tv which has a direct s-video input. I've used this cable on another machine and it show up in color. Oh, I'm on an XP Pro system if it maters.I've seen and heard things like the cable might be bad, get another and try it, some sort of video output setting on my computer and TV (Pal NTSC or something).

    Any suggestion, comments?

    Thanks Joe

Check and make sure your output settings aren't set to composite. Also, if you have a way of checking it, check that both the Y and C are terminated 75 ohms +/-5% [or better tolerance]. Note that if the C line is broken or is improperly terminated, you may very well get just luma (and thus, a greyscale image)
