s-video tv conect

    i have a hp avilion ze4300 and would like to use the tv-out feaure i have an s video cable hooked up to my tv and i press the tv button and nothing happens maybe a flicker then i get a message "their was a problem enabling tv mode check the tv cabe and try again"
    please HELP

    I am waiting on my s-video cable to do the same thing, so i cant tell you from personal experience, yet. However i did reade something today that said if you pavilion is a laptop like mine, the Fn+F8 command swithes s-video on and off.
