S-Video versus VGA to HDMI

    I am trying to decide whether it is worth investing on an adaptor to use my LCD TV as a screen for my notebook. I have been using a S-Video cable and the quality is not too good. Unfortunately my LCD does not have a VGA IN port. Is the difference in image sharpness worth buying an adaptor to use the HDMI port on my LCD?

    i use a dvi to hdmi on my 61 inch tv and it is great i watch movies over there and surf the web on my little 19 inch
