I was watching my box and the sound went have rebooted, rescanned but still no sound any clues as to how i can fix it, rescanning was great as i got loads of new channels but no good if i cant hear them, i live in kent if that helps.
sounds silly this but is the scart loose on the back of the TV or DBox also in settings check the Audio settings mine is set to OSD with the dolby digital set to off
hubby says he checked scart that is all good we have sound on normal tv but just not on dbox, he is going to check the osd in a minute see if that helps.
excellent news, as I say always check the obvious, happened to me over weekend, plugged a mates DBox into scare all I got was sound and no picture, turned out I connected the scart on the back of the dbox from VCR to TV instead of TV to VCR - felt like a real lemon..
