    MIT = Made in Taiwan
    MIS = Made in Singapore

    The Singapore labled discs are the ones you want and should code as MKM Verbatims.

    Sony DL DVD+R MiTaiwan = RitekD01

    and like LOCOENG said . . .

    Sony DL DVD+R MiSingapore = MKM001

    MKM are much better . .

    Now if you can find MiT for less than a buck each . . well . . .

    That's all nice and said, but it's the SL Sonys on sale this week. And SLs don't code out as such.

    No big secret what the MIT or MIS Sony SL DVDs code out as

    16x -R Sony16D1
    16x +R SonyD21

    now the MIJ are gonna be either the Sony code or Taiyo Yuden . .

    Been this way forever and then some . . .

    Thanks. I already knew that but some newer folks here might have mistaken the previously quoted DL MID codes for these SL MID codes since the OP list listed SL Sonys. Anyway, happy shopping as you don't often see both Sonys and Verbs on sale at the same time.
