In an effort to improve my chances of error free backups, I would like to add a 2nd hard drive to my PC with Windows XP only and of course Shrink+Decrypter.

You can't install XP on 2 different computers, but can you install it on 2 different hard drives of the same computer?

    Thanks in advance.

you can put xp on different c-puters, up to 3 with xp pro, and with the regular xp you just call windows and get permission, you cannot put xp on the same c-puter twice, why would you need to, explain please.

I just want one hard drive with nothing on it but XP, Shrink, & Decrypter.

The other hard drive with all my other stuff.

Then I can boot from which ever one I need to use.
