samsung galaxy s help

    Hi all i need help getting files off a samsung galaxy s it's my sis inlaw phone her daughter let a cup fall on the screen and now it's blank she has alot of photos on it that is looking to get before phone goes in for repair can anyone help me out phone is been collected in 1 hour so really need help.

    I think there is no way to save the files if the phone doesn't turn on.

    Try to boot into recovery or download mode.

    Assuming you're running a stock ROM, you can try recovery mode by holding both volume keys and the power key. It'll get to the boot screen, shut off, boot, shut off, THEN LET GO.

    If that succeeds, you may be able to install adb onto your pc and pull files off manually.

    PS: You may not be able to save files, but you may be able to save the phone with a download mode jig.
