Hey guys, I have a Samsung SH-D162C installed in my PC with the Kreon firmware. I've just recently started to notice that this drive will not read some video dvd's. The one I remember off the top of my head is South Park Season 6, Disc 3. When I try these disc's in my Pioneer 111D they work fine. I'd say 95% of the DVD's I try in the Samsung work fine, but every now and then I will come across one that won't be recognized by the drive. Has anyone else with this drive/firmware combination notice anything similar?
Yes i have also, when i tryed to back up my Wildboyz season 2 disk 1 dvd fab had lots of errors with the samsung drive but when i put it in my LG Burner it was fine, this disk has lots of scratches on it, so i wouldnt have a clue why one worked and the other didnt
