SATA chip

    No that drive does not burn games it is just a dvd-r drive, it will only copy them. Any SATA card should be able to control any SATA drive, however there aren't very many sata drive most are ide interface. also you need to make sure you get a SATA card that will be able to read the drive, there are many of these posted on the forums already. I used my onboard SATA ports (just make sure you use the first/master port, which sometimes is just guess and check if you don't have your manual), my onboard was n-force 9 and it worked fine in the the first port.
