If I want to just save the movie the computer reads how can I. My computer will not go any further after the reading step so I end up just having to close it and I lose it all. I want to save the movie on my computer to burn at a later time how?

This is done very easily in DVD Shrink http://www.dvdshrink.org/what.html
Just Open DVD. If you wan tthe whole DVD then just click Backup or you can re-author and just put the movie on your HD (No menus) This dosent compress your movie as much and makes the quality much better. Once done re-authoring just click back up. When Screen pops up just click where it says back up target and select "Hard Disk Folder" Then below that select where on your HD you want your movie and hit Ok. It's just that easy.
    Hope this helps!
