I've just bought a new DELL with an internal DVD+RW drive (Philips DVD+RW SDVD6004).

It was no problem to burn DVDs (I used Nero and for another DVD I used Easy CD Creator).

The problem is that all those DVDs are only readable on device with which I burned the them!
I've tried four other Laptops and they all fail to read the DVD (drive stutters).
Bitset adjustment to DVD-ROM in Nero didn't solve the problem.

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Try better media...
    or

Are you burning DVD+R or DVD+RW?.

Perhaps the drives you are trying them on are not DVD+ compatible.

Do you have a fairly new dvd standalone player? Try your backups in that.
