Serious Problems with Magic III instalation

    Hi...


    I installed the Magic III chip on my PS2. Now when I turn it on, there is no image on my TV and I can’t eject the tray… There is a know problem/solution to this??

    [bold] first of all, is it magic 3 or magic 3.1? also is the eject light work?

    2 main areas to check:

    1. Are there ANY lights on the front of the unit red led in standby mode....etc......if not check the ribbon cable that connects the front switches to the motherboard for orientation/connection.

    2. Check your bios soldering p,q,m,n, etc......look for bridges across the pins or even dry joints (joints with no solder) on the chip........
