I have a question about setting the quality prec and bias in DVD/RB 0.69. I'm using CCE SP 2.66!
Mine is set to: quality prec 16,VBR bias 25, 2 pass
AVG bitrate 3.700 kb/s for TROY!
When i made a backup of TROY movie only in the fight scenes there is a litle noise around the objects! If i set higher value for quality prec...28,should this problem dissapear???
And can somebady tell me the quality prec value, that turns out to be the best for LOTR ROTK, please ?????

It's hard to say whether that will take care of the problem or not. Noise around the edges can be caused by either having the Quality_Prec set too low or by simply trying to encode at too low a bitrate, creating encoding artifacts. I suspect that with that bitrate you're seeing encoder artifacts. You might get better results by lowering the Quality_Prec (gives priority to fine details vs. solid surfaces).
