It's a "1 sheep burner" (EFM encoding) m8. You'll need the aid of a ATIP tool (hide cd-r, ignore media type)= emulation to play backups of many pc cd protection (Safedisc 2.x). Burners have come way down price wise so if you wan't a good reliable "2 sheep burner", then consider these brands.
    1) Lite-ON 52\32\52x or 52\24\52x
    2) Asus 40\48x
    3) MemorexMAXX 40\48x (rebagged Lite-ON's
    4) Polaroid BurnMAX 40\48x

I honestly can't say if you khypermedia 48x 24x 48x burner (Artec) is a 2 sheep burner or not. Team Elby (CloneCD) supported writers doesn't have this model on the list due to lack of updating. Only 1 Artec on that list is a "2 sheep burner" so if I had to bet money without even testing, I would say (drumroll please).. No, it's not a "2 sheep" burner. If you own a Toshi drive then try the test that Praetor posted (link). If you have at least 80 buckaroos then grab the MemorexMAXX52x burner= problem solved m8.
