I was wondering which one should I burn movies with? Is the audio noticably different with LPCM? I noticed when I burned two different movies, one with AC3, the other with LPCM, the one with AC3 was fine but the other with LPCM was almost too loud that it would distort.

A matter of personal preference, then?

Well AC3 (Dolby Digital) is the DVD standard, but some people have better results with LPCM. However be warned LPCM will produce a much larger file because this is uncompressed audio. I would say use wich ever works best for you :)
