Shrink Error

    I get this message when using shrink on the dvd Lonesome Dove.

    Dvd Shrink encountered a error and cannot continue.

    Failed to read file D:\

    Copy protection error The read failed because the sector is encrypted.

    It is older movie.

    I just tried dvd decrypter and got this error message:W 19:04:54 Failed to read Sector 2027351 - CIRC Unrecovered Error

    Tried dvd fab also last night and it didnt work.I could rip the 1st part but cant the 2nd part.Lonsome Dove.Its a 6 hour long movie 2 parts on one side and 2 on the other.

    it looks like you have a dvd that is scratched and cant be read all the way through.

    Try cleaning the dvd then try again

    also a program called ISObuster is one of the best at ripping badly scratched dvds.

    Hey thanks.Im gonna try the iso buster.If the disk were to be scratched would it still play good?

    yeah it might still play fine.

    I tried iso buster and rat and neither worked.Either it is scratched and/or it is impossible to copy it...thx for the help bowler!!!!

    You may have a bad press, in this case the sloution is as simple as returning it and exchanging it for another. You could try using ripit4me first and see if your successful, if not return and exchange.
