shrink 3.2 produced excellent results on a long movies
like Troy using old pc with celeron 600MHz/60G drive/348MB ram/xp pro. Took the DVD burner out of old pc and installed on a better pc with
Athalon 2000/160G drive/785MB ram/xp pro with service pack2, and I see lot of poor video quality like flashing and bricks effects. Shorter movies less than 4.7G are excellent on both PC. Used decrypter to create video folder on both pcs and same movie.

I am puzzled, I should expect to see both pc produce
same results from the same dvd burner and same movie
    disk. Any suggestions. Thanks

Do you have deep analysis and AEC turn on for both PCs?

on old pc no deep analysis and aec. On newer pc I have tried just regualar which is worst, then deep analysis and then aec. deep analyis and aec is slighlty better but overall worst than regular on olc pc.

when you say you see artifacts/blockyness, are you seeing this on pc or tv; i ask because i get this , but when playing original or copy discs on PC. i sit very close to monitor so all movies look blocky on pc, but those discs don't on the tv.

Created iso file and view file using vlc player on both pcs. Old pc is much better and no poor video quality.

Also burned using same burner and same memorex 8x -R disks at 4x on both pcs. Veirfied on 56" tv also. If I see on my 19" monitor video artifacts, it will magnify on big TV.

There should be no difference. The media is pot luck. Sometimes good and sometime not.
