    Hello Folks,

I'm brand new to these forums, and brand new to DVD burning. I'm running a Hewlett Packard with sufficient ram (256) and plenty of space (73%). I've just bought an external DVD burner and everything goes okay until I get to 'Shrink'. My decrypter works excellently, and 'Shrink' works okay until I get to 'backup'. When I initiate 'backup', the time meter can idicate anywhere between 11 and 40 hours!?
Can anyone suggest to me what might be going on?

Have you checked in Device Manager under IDE conrollers that you are in DMA mode and not PIO?

Yea, I checked the IDE controllers and every thing seems okay there.
I've been having a bit of a problem getting rid of Blubster add on's, do you think that could be the problem?
