I know its not possible to buy a double layered recordable dvd but I'm told you can now buy double sided single layered dvd-r. Anyone used them with AO4's. Got links to cheap media?

I would very much like to hear if anyone is using double sided media. I heard there was some problems with the first batches with the quality of the discs. I am using DVD-R for archival purposes with the Pioneer A05 drive and the Pioneer DRM 700 DVD library system. The library system supports a DVD flipper so I would be interested in using double sided if the quality of them seems to have reached a reasonable level. Any one with comments?
