I keep having the same problems when backing up a dvd to dvd-r. The following problem occurs: This is a capture from the m2v file, the same artifacts and strange colors are present in the resulting dvd image. I tried 2 different DVD's, both of which have this result The following guide I used for reference: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd_rebuilder_tutorial.cfm (all settings in the guide are the same as on my setup) The sw I used: dvd rebuilder 0.67 tried DVD-RB 0.55 also to no avail) CCE 2.69 Basic Avisynth 2.54 Smartripper 2.41 in backup mode DGDecode.dll and MPEG2Dec3dg.dll (Version 1.0.1.0) My setup: Win XP Pro SP2 Athlon XP 2800+ 512Mb Ram And for testing purposes only Acer 1360 Notebook Win XP Home SP2 Sempron 2800 256Mb Ram On another note, my dvd backup seems too small, <1.8Gb. indy2: Glad you sorted that out. If you try to go back to CCE with future versions of RB, i suggest getting 2.67 version as 2.69 version has been reported to be very buggy with RB.
