A blank DVD+R will only hold about 4.37gb not the 4.7gb that they claim.

You can shrink it to fit on one dvd+r with software called dvd2one.

There are just about 4,700,000,000 bytes on a 4.37GB DVD-R. This is because of the quirky way in which bytes are counted. 1KB is 1024 bytes, and so on. Therefore 4.7 Billion bytes are on a 4.37GB DVD-R

I've tried dvdshrink. Seems to work great. Especially for episodal DVDs. Grab it while it's free.

Bear in mind DVDshrink is a partial copy of DVD Decrypter.
