What is the firmware of your burner? Is it hooked up to a 2.0 USB or 1?

Are you burning your compilations too close too the edge? When you transcode, do you delect a custom size, like 4300Mb for your DVD-Video?

well when i use nero its set for 4.3g and when i use winavi it barely even touches 2g for a 700mb avi file so it seems to stay pretty far away from the edge of the media
