I am completely new to sky box f3/f5 systems and just have a few questions if anyone is able to help, ive done as much of my own research as possible.

I will soon be moving into a house that has a sky minidish on the side left by the prior owner but it is disconnected as the wire is just dangling down the side of the house. Can I just extend the wire and use this with a sky box f3/f5 or will I need a proper new installation?

which is the better box, F3 or f5?

    thanks for reading

just use the exiting dish and cables if they are in good order, if not run a new cable from the LNB on the dish to yer TV, I suggest you read the F3 tutorial on the site, it simple to follow

F3 and F5 basically same box
