As some of you may or may not know my computer crapped out and I need to replace the mouther board, the power supply and the CPU. I have decided to buy a new computer. I would use my old hard drive with the new computer, but I know the hard drive needs to be formatted to the motherboard. So that is out of the question because i will loose all of my data. So I am trying to use another PC I have and use my hard drive as a slave drive to get all of my files off. I have booted the computer off of the Master drive that is already in it, but when I try to open my documents off of the G drive I get access denied. I then booted the computer in safe mode an I also received the access denied error. How do I get around this ?

    Thanks
