Slayer 2.5 Flashing option: what does it do?

    Hey, I understand that if a person doesn't install a mod chip, the bios can be flashed and afterwards a dashboard needs to be installed.

    Does option 7 of Slayer 2.5 [Flash XBOX v1.0-1.5 On-Board TSOP or Mod Chip] accomplish that?

    Or do you still have to open up the xbox to flash its bios, regardless of having Slayer 2.5 and making use of its option 7?

    Please let me know, I'm trying to learn about bios/dashboard/flashing.

    yup its possible to mod an xbox without a mod chip, by flashing the onboard bios, ..I gotta admit I was too scared to do it lol
    Im not sure what happens with "online" then though, cos you can switch a mod chip on and off
