slide card boot problem

    When i insert the swap magic disc to boot the ps2, instead of having the insert disc screen the screen is pitch black
    this is the first time it has happened to me

    and my brother was playing the back up about an hour earlier

    and when i try a regular non backup game it would work

    try giving the disc a clean

    yea i cleaned it but now it goes off and on
    i mean it works 1 day then it happens again

    maybe your laser also needs cleaning

    First of all i think that it is hard for the ps2 to read the SM disk when they are clean, but you said after cleaning yours it kinda worked so it sounds like it is your disk, the only other suggestion would be adjusting your laser.
