    i got a slide card other day and then it broke my playstation what should i do and if i get a new playstation should i try it again??????????????

    For one, get a fliptop. Secondly, use dvd decryptor to make and iso image, then burn it, all there is to it.

    what is a fliptop and thAt dvd thing and how do you burn games any ways??????? do you need a dvd burner or what i dont know very much about burning games sorry.

    Yes you need a dvd burner. Also, what were you using with the slide card to boot games?

    hi just wondering how did it break your ps2 if your getting a new one would you sell the bust one?

    how did it break your ps2 was it a home made one
    if only the ps2 could be like a dreamcast and boot any old crap u put into it.

    i broke when i unscrewed the front part
    and after that it just woul;dent open and and it was all fucked up but its fixed now
    now i am just wondering what is a good maodchip to buy

    Maybe thats why it broke. You shouldn't of had to unscrew anything for the swipe card.

    you do have to take the front face plate off of the disc drive. and you take that front panel off by taking out a screw, removing the faceplate and put the screw back in. so he did what he was supposed to do... but iq might be a factor here i'm guessing.

    Yeah, you have to unscrew a piece, and take off the front of the cd load tray... and that is easily broken when taking it off.... but i agree with what was said in the previous post...

    Well, i have a v4 and there is no screw. Does the newer ones have a screw?

    on the v7 if you look on the bottom of the cd tray, there is a little screw that holds a rod in place that i assume keeps the tray straight..... it's in one of the outer corners..... must assume it's on the other versions too

    the front cover on the cd tray just pops off on mine.

    the v8 and v9 ps2 dont have the screw on the drive cover it just unclips
